The Science: What Makes UltraClear® Different?
UltraClear® is the world’s first 2,910 nm cold ablative fiber laser, and it is designed to reverse signs of aging by remodeling collagen in the deep layer of the skin (dermis) and polish the top layer of skin (epidermis) with minimal downtime. Traditional resurfacing lasers (like CO2 lasers) rely on intense heat to vaporize damaged skin. While effective, that extra thermal energy can cause significant redness, pain, prolonged swelling, and extensive downtime. This “cold” laser is more precise in its energy delivery and has much less spread of thermal energy to surrounding skin.
